Dunnydeer

Dunnydeer (or Dunnideer) is a hill by Insch in the Garioch. The hill is surmounted by an ancient vitrified fort and a ruined C13th castle, likely the oldest towerhouse on mainland Scotland. Hut circles lie around the fort perimeter and many stone circles in the area lie within good sight of this hill.
