Auchlee Arrangement [Cairnfield]

Not sure what to make of this - several stones in a vague ring shape (about 3m at the widest) in the same field as the Auchlee stone circle and cairn system (all hidden by gorse). The area is covered in clearance cairns too. Not sure if the above arrangement is clearance stones arranged in an aesthetically pleasing way, random chance, or the remains of something else, but they lie in an otherwise barren part of the field.

 

Edit 26.10.14: Looking over a Pathfinder map, the area is a known cairnfield. Have since seen similar ancient arrangements near Kingussie.
