Large Format Lenses

Three lenses purchased over the past month for a future foray into large format photography.

L-R:

1. Heavy brass WW2 aerial camera lens (salvaged from a crash site in Essex). No details inscibed. Has severe damage to the rear element. Fixed aperture. Convex, wide angle.

2. "Wallace Heaton Ltd. Sheffield & London. No.2 Zodellar Anastigmat f3.5 F=13.5cm. Made in Germany." Wallace Heaton was the UK distributor. Zodellar is one of WH's lens trade names. The actual German manufacturer is unknown.

A bit dusty. Slight fungus at the extreme edges. Smooth movement down to f/32. Concave.

3. Aldis 6 Inch f/6 lens - No. 197343 [lens], No. 466 [barrel]. Optically perfect but cosmetically iffy - someone repainted it. Comes with retaining ring. Aperture stops down to f/32, but the ring has to be unscrewed to move. Concave.
