Wanna Wubba?
Of COURSE he wants a Wubba... he loves these toys! When Barney arrived at our home, he came with his collar, his lead, his bed and a Wubba. He loved it and it lasted for many months but eventually died when he chewed the top bit off... By then he had discovered the wonder of tennis balls and other toys, so it wasn't replaced straight away. However, on seeing how happy he was with his Kong which he got given a couple of weeks ago, I decided to replace his loved and lost Wubba, as a kind of (early) Christmas pressie!
I boggled his poor OCD collie mind this morning by getting all 20 or so of his balls, his Kong and a couple of other toys out and THEN giving him his new Wubba too. He was beside himself with joy!! He spent a lot of time throwing various balls at me, to make me chuck them back, then picking another one up and jumping around the garden with it, before grabbing his Kong, or pouncing on his Wubba and playing tug with me... Christmas really did come early for him today :) He's now asleep in the corner of the room, exhausted from all the excitement!
I'm afraid, I'll have to leave most of his crazy happiness to your imagination. I took quite a lot of photos but the vast majority were a blur, as we're in perpetual dusk at the moment, it never seems to get light properly :( That, combined with a dog leaping about at high speed, upset the camera quite a lot! Anyway, there's a couple more in the comments... one because despite it's blurriness, I absolutely love it and another because he just looks quite cute :)
