Hanging around in the Montmatre area next to the Sacre Coeur, definitely the place to be. Will have to brush up more on my French before going back, I only got one group to think I was French and they were English :)
Despite good advice to take a 6x6 camera I in the end just took along smaller ones and I think it was the right thing to do because that thing is damn heavy. Plus I managed to drop the new Ricoh twice so it now has two new Parisian dings on it.
