Canon 300 - TriX 400 (pushed to about 1600)
Apparently Tri-X doesn't like being pushed to hard but it does make very big grain! Have been reading a little on sensitometry this morning and it makes a lot of things fit into place and gives plenty of good ideas to try out. I basically tried to push the contrast as far as I thought it might go in this roll (through the developing rather than the shooting, i'd already finished it at this point). Wasn't really expecting the grain so much but i've never shot tri-x before so wasn't sure what to expect at all.
Watched an interesting youtube clip on where to expose your shadows in black and white in terms of creating the best contrast and textures -

- will be trying this next time. All very geeky and, to most people, extremely boring stuff. I got excited though :)
