Life Is Like A Photographer Who Doesn't Know Where The Film Ends.

Cosina CSM - Ilford HP5 Plus iso400

This is a pretty old shot - back from around the time of that one where the pen was in focus but the page was blurry if you can remember. It's funny how images can become strangely symbolic at different times - in my last weekend of uni this one pretty much sums it up. This has been my view whilst working for the last two years, now it's coming to an end and there's a whole bunch of white space afterwards for me to fill. I don't want to go getting too artsy for my own good, it's just what it looked like n stuff n junk.......should go drink a beer now.

Seeing photographs from Seamus Murphy (I think he's Irish....) in today's paper realy got me going and then having a good look at Wayne Mackeson's work and seeing the bullet points of things he likes about photographs i've realized that that's a really cool idea to focus on the important things so i'm going to give it a go. I don't have my points yet but they'll come shortly :) It'll probably basically involve a whole lot of stripping back even further and focusing on some factors before I take any shot which will hopefully give me some of the consistency my photos obviously lack.

Also i've realized that all lack of inspiration has been down to lack of shooting Jo - when we've been together recently it's been too late and dark to shoot film. Come Tuesday this will all end so that should be good :)

Thanks for taking a look, have a great weekend.
