I collected beechleaves one afternoon while I was waiting for marin to part from his schoolfriends, and I tore them apart in the evening. then I rose before the sun on the following day, and walking to the tip of the peninsula, and stuck them (with spit) to one of the rushes growing there.

 

there's another version of this in my land art set. this one is closer to the real thing.
