'Operation We Care'
Maj. Gen. James A. Adkins, the adjutant general of Maryland, met with members of 'Operation We Care,' Nov. 10, in Sharptown, Md., to thank them for their support to the Maryland National Guard as they assembled care packages to be sent to members of the Maryland National Guard's 115th Military Police Battalion who recently deployed.
'Operation We Care' started in 2007 as a grassroots effort by the Eastern Shore Chapter Harley Owners Group to show support and appreciation for the brave men and women around the world protecting our freedom. They also support the Families here at home that are dealing with life's challenges while their loved one is deployed.
