Above it All - Explored

Edinburgh Castle at Sunset looking out over the city. I liked how the fading light hit the face of the buildings and gave some slight definition to the surrounding areas.

 

There has been a castle here since the 12th century and was a royal residence up through the 1600s. Now it willingly opens its doors to the foreign "invaders" who visit by the thousands.
