More Mindless Copying

Mindless copying can shut down the brain of even the brightest student; and my primary two pupil, who has excellent phonemic recoginition, has learned phonics and can spell, is no different. When he is in his rote earning mode, his mind calcifies and as a result, words which are spelled properly on one page will lack letters on the next or certain letters are disfigured in the transcribing process.
