Moon Light Reflection Canyon
“The moon is looking down into the canyon, and how marvelously the great rocks kindle to her light! - John Muir
An amazing night spent with my friends overlooking Reflection Canyon. We spent the day taking different shots of the canyon. Then came a very cold night waiting for the milky way to come out in the early morning hours. So during the night we waited for the overcast skies to clear and then for the moon to set. Naturally there were several different sets of images taken while we waited. This image was taken after the milky way had risen in the sky and just before the moon set in the west. A single image of the moonlit canyon and star filled sky.
Single shot - Nikon D750, f/4, 15 sec, ISO3200, Tokina opera 16-28mm F2,8 @ 16mm
