Royal Basin hike......
There is much to be said about being in a huge old growth forest on a great trail, hearing a chattering creek and being with such good company. On Sunday, it was all put to the test. We did a 9.0 mile round trip stroll in the forest and saw 17 deer on the day (sadly, no black bear). Incredibly, we did not see another person all day. Thanks for a wonderful day hike Kelsie!
