racquetball elbow

Immediately after my apheresis donation was stopped, I was bandaged and sent on my way.

My rolling vein played a mean trick on the donation nurse: the needle perforated the side of the vein so once my 'blood liquids' had been pumped out and spun around in the machine then sent back through the tubes, it all ended up being pumped back into me but directly under the surface of my skin, where it formed a racquetball-sized bulbous mess. Ow.
