what to do when you're very tired of winter
Let's face it, winter is really getting to be a never ending drag. B & J invited a few friends over for their "Turn Up The Heat" party. They cranked the heat up in their home to 80 degrees, instructed everyone to come with summertime clothing, sandals, beach wear, gardening wear, Hawaiian shirts, sandals and sunglasses for an evening of creatively mixed frozen beverages (confidentally to B: the beergarita was ... mm, interesting. hee)
Everyone was lei-ed at the door, long pants came off, feet were released from the grips of heavy-duty Columbias and woolen socks into joyous flip-flops, and I really did forget that it was crappy outside for a few hours.
