VMGR-234 Flyover
Two French Dassault Mirage 2000 and a KC-130J Super Hercules with U.S. Marine Air Refuel Transport Squadron 234 perform a flyover during a Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) Patriot’s Day ceremony at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Sept. 11, 2021, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States on Sept. 11, 2001. The memorial ceremony included a joint formation, a multi-aircraft flyover, presentation of colors and the playing of Taps. Camp Lemonnier held multiple events in honor and remembrance of those who lost their lives both on that day and over the past two decades fighting the Global War on Terror.
