SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 9, 2021) An F/A-18C Hornet, from the “Death Rattlers” of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 323, launches off the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The USS Nimitz and USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) Carrier Strike Groups are conducting dual carrier operations in the Indo-Pacific in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
