PACIFIC OCEAN (May 13, 2020) U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Syann Noble-Sayers from Aurora, Colo., repairs wires of the ALR-67 countermeasure system on an F/A-18C Hornet, from the “Death Rattlers” of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 323, in the hangar bay aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is underway conducting a composite unit training exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the CSG, while testing a strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
