Nimitz Strike group Conducts COMPTUEX training

PACIFIC OCEAN (May 7, 2020) An F/A-18C Hornet, from the "Death Rattlers" of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 323 lands on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the carrier strike group, while testing a strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
