MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Oct. 9, 2018) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 2nd Class Brittany Brown signals a UH-1Y Venom helicopter assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 166 (Reinforced) during flight operations aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) in the Mediterranean Sea Oct. 9, 2018. Anchorage and embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit are deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations as a crisis response force in support of regional partners as well as to promote U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
