PUERTO RICO (Oct. 6, 2017) A Puerto Rican local carries supplies given to him by U.S. Marine air crewmen assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 161, during remote food and water transport operations. The Department of Defense is supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Maria to minimize suffering and as one component of the overall whole-of-government response efforts.
