Tiger Strike
SOUTH SULU SEA (Nov. 13, 2016) A CH-53E Super Stallion, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163 (Reinforced), takes off from the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) during Tiger Strike 16. Tiger Strike is a U.S.-Malaysia bilateral exercise designed to enhance interoperability, tactical proficiencies, and military-to-military partnership between participating forces.
