PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 2, 2016) Marines attached to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) repel from a UH-1 Huey helicopter during fast-rope training aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25). Somerset is on its maiden deployment as part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, and is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations with the embarked 11th MEU in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
