Here you see the Emmasingel, a busy road through the city center, and the square '18th Septemberplein' of the shopping area. On the right The Blob, and in the back a fairly new hotel called The Student Hotel, and on the left The Piazza, the half-indoor shopping area.

 

Eindhoven is called the City of Light, due to its light bulb production roots of Philips, but also because of its yearly Light Festival Glow. This is a shot after about an hour after sunset at Strijp-S.
