Maryland Day: Stormwater Edition 2025

Maryland Day- Stormwater Edition

This year we are partnering with Park's Stormwater Team to learn how our local waterways impact the Chesapeake Bay watershed, thus our delicious blue crabs. On Sept. 13, start the night off with a drink in your hand as you are led by our Stormwater experts down to the creek to explore water quality issues such as pollution, run-off and stormwater impacts.

Back at the table, relax and break into fresh blue crabs, nibble corn on the cob, and watermelon. Maryland themed clothing is encouraged or just bring your favorite white T-shirt to wipe your hands on. Registration includes two beers, a blue crab meal, and if needed, complimentary childcare!

While the true Maryland Day is in March, we delayed our celebration to coincide with blue crab season.
