Cool down this summer at Wheaton Ice Arena! This full-day camp is for all, from absolute beginners to upand-coming ice skating stars. Campers will skate twice every day in the morning and afternoon including
Figure Skating Variety Camp
Prerequisite: Passed Youth Ice Skating 4. This camp will introduce figure skaters to a variety of types of figure
skating. Skaters will work on freestyle skills (jumps and spins), beginning ice dance, moves in the field, and
choreography. It will be a great opportunity for skaters to try many new elements and types of skating!
Please bring sneakers for off-ice workouts, snack, and a water bott
a 30 minute ice skating lesson taught by a professional instructor and ice time during the public session to
practice the skills learned. Lesson groups will be divided based on age and skating ability and skaters will be
evaluated at the end of the week to determine their current skating level. We’ll also do lots of fun indoor and
outdoor off-ice activities, including stretching and fun fitness activities! Please bring comfortable athletic
