Montgomery Parks is hosting a free, family-friendly celebration of the newly renovated Columbia Local Park in Burtonsville. The park opening will feature refreshments and games for the family.

Come check out the new recreation area featuring four dedicated pickleball courts, a futsal or soccer court, and a full-size tennis court with striping for pickleball. A small gathering area with a shade structure and a drinking fountain is adjacent to the court area. The park also features an approximately 10,000-square-foot dog park, with separate areas for large and small dogs. Each enclosure is concrete, with a turf mound for dogs to play on.
