Brookside Nature Center is turning 60!

Stop by Brookside Nature Center on Sunday, October 9, from 1 to 7pm to celebrate 60 years of memories. Enjoy a slice of birthday cake, participate in a nature program, see our new exhibits, and toast s’mores. Share your personal memories of what makes Montgomery County’s oldest nature center so special. Together, we look forward to the next 60 years.

The first 100 visitors will get a free souvenir to commemorate the day!

1pm – Enjoy a slice of birthday cake
1:30pm – Feed me! Feed me! Program – Advanced Registration Required(opens in a new tab)
2 – 2:30pm – Turtle Talk Program – (Outdoor turtle enclosure)
2 – 3pm – Share your memories of Brookside Nature Center
3 to 3:30pm – Turtle Talk Program (Outdoor turtle enclosure)
3:30 – 4:30pm – Nature Story Time Program (Auditorium) Advanced Registration Required
4:30 – 5:30pm – Share your memories of Brookside Nature Center
5:30 – 7pm – S’mores around the campfire (Woodland Amphitheater)
