Murals - Dewey Local Park 2020

Artist Juan Pineda puts final touches on his large paintings. He created murals on three buildings at Dewey Local Park. The Prince George's County resident says he sees nature as one thing that binds all people together. He wants people to be inspired by nature and to slow down and reflect on their lives. His works feature large geometric elements combined with giant plants and animals, like love birds and an oriole. Pineda is a visual artist or street artist and uses latex and spray paint in his murals. His other works are featured in Bethesda, Alexandria, DC, and Hyattsville.
