Highland Glow
One definite highlight of my trip to Iceland was visiting the highlands of Landmannalaugur. The area truly is spectacular and worth visiting even if the campground easily ranks as the perhaps the worst I’ve ever been too. Those of you who’ve been there can most likely relate. Anyway, nice light was hard to come by during the trip however the weather gods were kind enough to send some my way while at Landmannalaugur -- nice soft diffuse light which tended to produce a toned-down glow rather than bright, stark contrasts. There are several semi-similar images I made which I enjoyed enough to process but this one called to me loudest whenever I viewed it, so here it is. Hope everyone out there enjoys!
