Black Inventors

Black History Month shines at our May Center for Adult Services, Day Habilitation (dayhab) program in Randolph, Mass.

The staff recently celebrated Black History Month by creating a Black Excellence History Museum. And it was spectacular!

Each classroom was responsible for finding one segment of Black history they were passionate about and doing all the relevant reading and research. Then, the classes created gorgeous displays and posters to share that information with each other and all visitors.

The variety of black history focal points was impressive. They included athletes, nurses, inventors, civil rights activists, the Black Lives Matter movement, musicians, artists, authors, and politicians, to note a few. Furthermore, there were information boards about many countries representing our staff.

Congratulations to Director Chloe Watson, the entire staff, and everyone in their care for your hard work.
