I started a new job a couple weeks ago, and since I have an hour lunch breack I've been hiking a lot in the surrounding hills. Ever since the first hike I took I've been seeing mushrooms everywhere and am constantly reminded of all of Machel Spence's beautiful mushroom photos. Yesterday I finally brought my camera along and took some shots of this little guy before it started raining on me. Anyone know what kind of mushroom this is? They seem to be everywhere around here.
