MBP HDD to SSD (aka TLA preponderance )
I've just replaced the old factory 1TB HDD (5400rpm) in my MacBook Pro, with a mid-range 960GB SSD (solid state drive). OCZ Trion 100 (OCZ were recently acquired by Hitachi). No longer concerned about HDD failure from shock, and significantly snappier performance.
SSDs will continue to become more affordable over the next year or two.
