painters descended (ascended) onto this vacant building opposite our apartment, tarting up to rent. it had been empty for the preceeding 18-odd months we'd lived there. perhaps the declining economy and exchange rate after the big devaluation against the dollar assisted with less expensive property.
I was a little worried about the state of their 'scaffolding' setup and approach to safety. nevertheless, nobody was harmed during the refinishing of this building, at least to my knowledge #8 )
