I wonder if Ford's engineers ever foresaw this during the design phase?
serious V8-age in Ford's little Popular 103E of 1953-1962 (a run-on of the E494A Anglia of 1949-53)
I took my daughter to the 2013 Port Road Drags at Seaview, Wellington, New Zealand. An annual event run by Cam County Incorporated, it's a 1/8 mile street drag meet run on closed public roads. I'd not been since 1991, it was excellent to see the variety of iron and folks having a really good time.
