[GWW] bach

copper cladding - nice. relatively low maintenance in a particularly harsh coastal environment. keep the windows clean, and oil the timber each year. good thinking.

 

of course, I've called it a bach. with irony. I've no idea if the owners do too.

 

I'm evaluating the 18-200 VR that came with my D300. I'm not convinced yet, trying to understand how to get the best from it. I might try switching the VR on only when working in low light, see if that improves things. it's certainly a utility lens; I think there are some better results lurking in there if I can just learn its weaknesses and how to shoot around them.
