Circular Reasoning or π r²
From a distance, I thought this bird was trapped and had drowned when the tide came in. He/she stayed in this head-on-the-water position for at least 15 minutes. As I got closer it became apparent that only the beak was in the water. It never did more than wiggle its beak then entire time I was watching. Seems like an odd way to find prey.
As and aside, I would love to titled this "Pi R Squared" in symbols., i.e. π r 2 except flickr doesn't support superscripts, even when copied from MS Word. If anyone knows how, please let me know!
