The Pacific Northwest Trail as it drops down into the Upper Swift Creek Valley below Mt. Baker and Heather Meadows

The first half of the Lake Ann trail doubles as the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail. This photo is looking southeast as the trail drops down to Swift Creek. From there, the Lake Ann trail turns left and climbs over the ridge to the lake while the PNT turns right and drops down Swift Creek towards Baker Lake.
