Two hikers along the ridge above Round Top Lake in the Mokelumne Wilderness

Winnemucca Lake and Round Top Lake are located in the Mokelumne Wilderness in the northern Sierra Nevada Mountains.

 

Both of these lakes are accessible via a nice 5 mile loop hike up from Woods Lake, a Forest Service campground off Highway 88 just a bit east of Carson Pass.
