Aerial Los Angeles - the Los Angeles Basin from Allegiant Air flight 394 (West Hollywood, Hollywood, the 10 freeway, Santa Monica Mountains, Caheunga Pass, Burbank, the San Fernando Valley, and beyond)

I had occasion to fly from Los Angeles to Grand Junction and was fortunate enough to have the best window seat I've ever had. We took off out over the water from LAX and then looped south and flew directly over the L.A. Basin and the San Gabriel Mountains before heading across the Mojave Desert, over Central Nevada and Southern Utah before touching down in GJ. All in all, it was a great 85 minutes (even though a one-hour delayed departure made me miss a tee time!)
