Downtown Los Angeles from the roof (14th floor) of the Los Angeles Athletic Club (LAAC).
The LAAC is at 7th and Olive in Downtown LA. This photo is facing north with the omnipresent Library Tower (now called the U.S. Bank Tower though I prefer the old name) rising above the rest of the skyline. This building is the tallest west of the Mississippi River, and no matter what anyone tells me about it being safe during an earthquake I'll believe it when I see it.
