Last light over a Southern California marine layer, from Waterman Mountain in the Angeles National Forest
Waterman Mountain is located in the San Gabriel Mountains about an hour's drive from Los Angeles. The Twin Peaks are located just to the south and Three Points and Devils Canyon are located a few miles to the west. Most of the area south of this peak is within the San Gabriel Wilderness.
The LA Basin is covered by clouds in this photo, with only a couple of lower peaks popping through them.
