Harris Institute, Regent Street, Preston.

The Harris Institute building was formerly known as the Harris Institute for the Diffusion of Knowledge. Built in 1847, it was enlarged in 1882 to serve as a technical college, which later became Lancashire Polytechnic, and ultimately in 1992 the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

UCLan ceased using the building in 2007, and was purchased at auction 18 months later by local businessman Yousuf Bhailok.
