We like the moooooon (heavily annotated Harvest Moon, 10/6/2006)
Taken with a canon EOS400d (Digital Rebel XTi) attached to an 8 inch (203mm) newtonian telescope with 1000mm focal length (F/4.9). This is 38 extremely short exposures (somewhere between 1/2000 and 1/4000 second) combined using registax. (Over)sharpened with wavelets filter and unsharp masking to pick out detail... Full moons are very washed out since there aren't any shadows to speak of.
