Great Dodecahedron Diagram

Here are diagrams for one of the stellations of the dodecahedron. This design requires 30 square sheets of paper. For a tricoloured version look here.

If you manage to fold the model with these diagrams I would like to see a picture!

 

I made these instructions in Inkscape, there is a great tutorial series by Jo Nakashima on how to draw diagrams with that free software.

 

Some additional assembly tips:

This model has icosahedral symmetry, that means it consists of 5- and 3-point-centers. During the insertion of a flap, the unit with the pocket is flattened temporarily.

To insert the last unit, the two adjacent negative pyramids are inverted (made convex), with the last unit in place they are pushed in again.
