I’m trying something new for today’s photo.
My class was assigned a project in a color theory class while I was in college a couple years ago. We had to pick a pair of complimentary colors and paint a simple dichromatic design. It was my first time working with gouache paint, but the results were beautiful. The defined colors gave each painting an aspect of elegance.
I’ve been inspired by my youth, my past memories, and my childhood recently. Brief glimpses of my past keep rushing into mind and I wish I could just capture it all, just for a moment. I’m not sure if this reminiscing is creatively inspiring for me, or if it is destructive. I think it is a little bit of both, and I just need to look at these memories as a positive reminder that I will make more happy memories in the future.
