Part of the Citadel of Hué, the former royal capital of Vietnam.

Apparently the "Forbidden Purple City" was largely intact before the french decided to destroy it in 1947.
It was probably finished off by the Americans in the 60s and 70s when the Citadel was taken by vietcong for 3 weeks-ish.
