Little egret
I often see photos of waterbirds especially from outside of the UK where the background in a photo is a beautiful gold colour and the subject is softly illuminated but I rarely see it in the UK thanks to our all to often gloomy winters and my lack of time for photography! However, as the sun started to set when I was photographing this little egret I finally got my chance to photograph in those conditions and I made the most of it
