Boise Oklahoma Thunderhead

While on my way to shoot pictures of the Boise City tornado, I had to drive under this monster through high winds and blinding rain curtains and hail, with horn shaped masses coming down along the sides, and I have to admit it was definitely a little frightening. By the time I arrived at a good viewing spot, the tornado that was occurring north west of this cloud had vanished. So, while waiting to see if a new one would appear (it did) I shot a few of this beast.
The truck you see there is a local farmer who was busy checking his crop for damage from the nickel sized hail that the storm was producing. We watched sections of the cloud spin in circular patterns and I wasn't sure if it was safe to be staying directly under it, so I proceeded down the road to where I was when I took this photo.
