Bumblebee

Location: Spring Green Preserve, Spring Green, Wisconsin

 

This bee kept flying off and coming back to land on the same spot on a tree stump. There was a moment I thought he was gone for good. But after a minute, there he was again. I was previously unaware of this behavior in bumblebees.
